The hospital was established to support and provide free medical treatment and facilities to Cancer patients.

They have been receiving donations via offline methods & means, but they were not enough considering the expenditures that incur on the treating the patients.

4M Designers, a Pakistan based web design company suggested Imran Khan Cancer Appeal to establish an online donation platform to accept funds online.

It was in March 2007, few months before Ramadan, when Imran Khan Cancer Appeal turned to 4M Designers to establish their online identity and website to promote the noble cause and accept online donations.

The addition of online donation platform to their operations and the website has turned out to be the huge success for this non-profit organization. This is what Mr. Imran Khan, founder of the IKCA has said about 4M Designers:

4M Designers have put their heart & soul into to our new interactive, eye catching website. The site is user friendly and highly informative. IKCA, U.K. is now able to offer its donors a fast and secure donation service.

I would like to thank the staff at 4M Designers for making this website a success and would recommend their services.

Continuous online marketing efforts by 4M Designers team has not only increased donation figures, but has also created awareness of their Free Treatment program.

This year in July 2009, IKCA once again acquired 4M Designers’ services to revamp their current site. Their new web site is expected to go live by the mid of August 2009. This is again the ideal time considering Holy Month Ramadan is approaching fast.

4M Designers has also helped Chef International, a Pakistan based non-profit organization, providing healthcare facilities to the needy and working towards reducing the poverty in the country. We are always willing to take non-profit organizations on board to help them achieve the best out of the online marketing.

A U.S. based Indian company, Medencrypt, leading providers of web-based dictation and transcription solutions nationwide outsourced its web application & portal development to 4M Designers, a Pakistani web design company.

A U.S. based Indian company, Medencrypt, leading providers of web-based dictation and transcription solutions nationwide outsources its web application & portal development to 4M Designers, a Pakistani web design company.

4M Designers considers this, a huge success, keeping in mind India has number of software companies that could have been selected by Medencrypt for their application development.

Abdul Muizz, Business development director and Muhammad Munib, Technology director are the key people behind this web development project acquisition.

Abdul Muizz unfolds the story of this huge IT project acquisition; it was in December 2008, when Medencrypt approached 4M Designers for their corporate website revamp. We presented them with the new site design and like in most web design projects, the design was approved in one go! We were working with them for the first time and were able to gain an extra level of trust because of fast approval on the design, prompt communication and on time deployment of their website.

This is what Michelle Liwanag, Manager – Operations and Sales at Medencrypt said about us:

“I searched online for a great web design company who can fulfill our website needs with as minimal information that we can give. This is when I learned about 4M Designers. Your team is professional yet very easy to deal with. You gave suggestions we didn’t even think of. I enjoy the creativeness you have brought to our new website. I am very pleased with the work you have done and now, we’re hoping to work with you on rebuilding our web portal. I would recommend 4M Designers to anyone needing any type of website. Thank you!”

They then showed willingness to acquire 4M Designers’ services for their web application and portal development. 4M Designers put together their team to understand their business requirements and proposed an unmatched web solution to eliminate their legacy systems. Again, the prompt communication was the key factor that has made this project acquisition possible!

The web itself has number of opportunities, looking to be tapped. We as the nation can capitalize and bring IT outsourcing projects to Pakistan by staying active & positive. No doubt, Pakistan has well-educated English-speaking skilled workers, and no other economy can match Pakistan’s scalability, reliability and low-cost environment. Happy acquisiton!!

Moreover, Google also recognized this effort of 4M Designers and listed us under the news section

Let us discuss the key factor in web design that is clarity. You can achieve great results if you follow basic rules in web design. When you are doing web site yourself or your web design company is doing it for you - normally one thing has strong emphasis that is TO DO THE INNOVATIVE website and this many times damages user experience.

Good Design Matters - Good Communication Matters More

There is no point in choosing the design that is visually appealing but is complex for its users. They won’t understand the heck out of it. Remember when you make them puzzled - they have one simple browser option that is the BACK button.

So, what’s the point? It’s not the point; It is indeed a factor, a thought, a principle that should be running on your mind when you are designing the site, that is: Keep your USERS in mind and do everything they feel easy about.

For instance, if your users like short forms, do it. If they are lazy about filling forms? Provide visible phone number and email and let them contact you via other means.

Designing, building and maintaining a great website isn’t easy. It’s like golf: a handful of things to get the ball in the hole, a million ways not to.

Detailed attention is essential - failing to do so adds cognitive workload and distract attention from the task at hand.
The distractions might be slight but they add up and sometimes it doesn’t take much to throw us.

People don’t like puzzle over how to do thing. If you are puzzling your visitors - this clearly means that you are eroding your visitors’ confidence in the site.

Example: Buttons are buttons (people see and think yes they are clickable) | Links are not button - if links are placed - people will not recognize whether they are clickable or not (by doing this you are making them think - which they don’t like)

Remember: On the Internet, the competition is always just once click away, so if you frustrate users they’ll head somewhere else.

The best solution to overcome frustration is to make website self-evident or atleast self-explanatory.

4M Designers is helping companies get more from their web site and web marketing
